- Get comfortable with your strategies using official practice tests and questions that can be downloaded from or accessed at: www.collegeboard.org
Getting Psyched
- Be confident of your ability to precisely employ test-taking techniques
- Think about the advantages your preparation has provided you with
- Meditate everyday, and normalize nervousness
The Day Before the Exam
- Get your usual 7 to 8 hours of sleep before Test Day
- Brush up on your techniques using practice questions and your notes
Furthermore…
- Eat BRAIN FOOD for breakfast on Test Day
- Practice a bunch of questions on the morning of the test to get your brain fired up
- Arrive early at the test center
- Make sure you take your Admissions Ticket and ID proof (School ID Card) to the Test Centre WITHOUT FAIL
- Do not bring any extra gadgets along with you
- Bring your own calculator along with extra batters, just in case
- Take a banana with you on Test Day for that extra energy boost during the 10-minute break
- The desk you’re sitting on ought to be comfortable and suited to your needs
- Make sure Bluebook is up and running without any hassles
- Answer EVERY question and put the available tools to good use
- You deserve to take the Test under good conditions
- Speak up if you’re facing any sort of discomfort
