Out of the 54 questions in the two Reading and Writing Modules, around 25-33 will be Reading questions and 19-31 will be Writing questions

Writing questions are split into two parts:
- Rules Questions (25% of each module)
- Rhetoric Questions (25% of each module)

READING QUESTIONS
- Have a text in the form of a poem, a fictional passage or a non-fictional passage
- Dual texts, a text with graphs and a passage with a blank to fill in are also common
- Task: To identify the meaning or purpose of some or all of the text

RULES QUESTIONS
- Which choice completes the text so that it conforms to the conventions of Standard English?
- Task: To answer questions about punctuation and grammar rules based on a sentence

RHETORIC QUESTIONS
- Either involve transition words or bullet points instead of a passage

READING AND WRITING BASIC APPROACH
- Read the question (helps you read the text with the purpose of finding out what the question asks you to)
- Identify the question type
- Follow the basic approach for that question type
