🔥 TipThese two sections require completely different skill sets, therefore, it is vital to identify your strengths and weaknesses to make your POOD more accurate
  • Writing questions are split into two parts:
    • Rules Questions (25% of each module)
    • Rhetoric Questions (25% of each module)
  • READING QUESTIONS
    • Have a text in the form of a poem, a fictional passage or a non-fictional passage
    • Dual texts, a text with graphs and a passage with a blank to fill in are also common
    • Task: To identify the meaning or purpose of some or all of the text
  • RULES QUESTIONS
    • Which choice completes the text so that it conforms to the conventions of Standard English?
    • Task: To answer questions about punctuation and grammar rules based on a sentence
  • RHETORIC QUESTIONS
    • Either involve transition words or bullet points instead of a passage
☑️ Must-do Identify which of these three categories is best for you to begin with well before the Digital SAT
