7. Fill-Ins

- 11 out of the 44 Math Questions are SPRs or Fill-Ins
- The format of the fill-ins is different, but the mathematical concepts tested are the same
WHAT IS A FILL-IN?
- Fill-ins are also called as Student-Produced Responses (SPRs)
- Some techniques such as POE or PITA cannot be used for fill-ins
🔥 The Fill-In Format
Each fill-in question will have a box which has to clicked and typed in to enter the answer. The numbers will enter left to right, and Bluebook will show a preview of your answer so you can make sure it looks right.
THE INSTRUCTIONS
- The fill-in instructions will appear on the left-side of the screen for every question.
⚠️ DO NOT
- USE SYMBOLS IN FILL-IN QUESTIONS!
- TYPE COMMAS FOR NUMBERS LONGER THAN 3 DIGITS!
- FOR DECIMALS THAT DON’T FIT IN THE BOX, EITHER ENTER AS MANY DIGITS AS WILL FIT OR ROUND THE LAST DIGIT.
- TRY TO ENTER MULTIPLE ANSWERS!
MORE POOD
- The fill-in questions are mixed in with the multiple-choice questions
- Both of the Math modules have a rough order of difficulty
Careless Mistakes
- Be extremely careful while solving fill-ins
- Make sure you double check your answer
- Be cautious while entering the answers in the box
MULTIPLE CORRECT ANSWERS
- Some fill-in questions will have more than one correct answer. In such cases, enter one correct answer.
